The tank is a couple years old, and came with my snake so I don't know what brad, but no the screen seems in fine condition. The metal isn't rusty or brittle, he just managed to break it right in the corner, its almost frayed where the screen joined the frame. It was even on his cool side so there has never been a light directly over it. He had a hide on that cide so he can get higher up and get extra leverage, but still...

It is pretty funny. Scary, but funny. Search in the search bar for plexiglass. I've seen some setups done nicely with it and it seems to work well. Ours is getting replaced eventually...I'm sick of foiling the screen.
