My snake made weird noises....

So i'm sitting here and my snake opened its mouth and sounded like it was coughing/puking.. it did this about 3 or 4 times as if a human would do like a dry heave.. help me i'm scared :( is my baby ok? its the first time hes done something like this since i've had him (got him a week ago) hes 2 and a half almost 3 years old, humidity is always above 50 (when I can help it, sometimes it drops lower, but not for long) now hes moving around and doing his normal activity when the sun is about to go down.. I don't want him to be sick or something and me not know it :( i'm a new snake owner and not used to these kinds of things.. His temp is always above 80 on the Warm side and his cool side is around 75. HALP!

Have you checked the enclosure for a poop? Snakes are known to make weird sounds sometimes before they take a poop. Try not to freak out.

I have not, his back end was in his hide when he did it so i'm thinking that might be it... might have a nice little mess to clean up. Sorry I just got him from a friend and I would feel really bad if only a week into this he got sick or something. :/

My first one makes crazy noises every so often that are just the sound of him going to "unload". He's woken me up from a dead sleep when I used to have him in the room with me, and now I think there's a person upstairs every time he does it because it's very loud and violent sounding. I would definitely check for a nice smelly mess, because as far as I know that's the only kind of loud noise they make.

This just happened to me. And I posted almost the exact thing you did. Turns out my girl just had some stuff to get rid of.

This happened to me twice. I was scared too! He left me a giant surprise.
