    I've just gotten him...
approx. 2 yrs. old male, about 2 1/2 ft. The seller said he was ready 2 eat so I gave him a mouse yesterday (Sat.). The question is how long before I can handle him after he eats? I've heard they need 2 digest their food for a couple of days?

Two days is usually what's recommended.

I feed Pelota on friday night, and don't handle her till sunday night, but usually wait till monday night(personal preference...I give her the weekends off ;)). So yeah generally give them atleast 48 hours to digest and settle.

Also, for a bp of that size, it seems like 1 mouse would be a small meal for him. How thick is he? Next feeding, try giving him a rat that's the thickness of the thickest part of your bp's body. :)
