    5th Grade Show & Tell
My daughter's class earned a special Show & Tell session this past Friday. And after many years of trying (it actually took getting a new principal) we finally managed to get principal (and teacher) approval to bring in a few of the snakes to show her class.

The kids were awesome. So many questions! I think there were maybe two kids total who didn't want to touch them (but even they had a ton of questions). Most of the kids wanted to wear the snakes but the principal made us promise that it was two finger touching only.

We brought our oldest and our youngest BPs with us. Columbus is our big normal male and he's about 10 years old. Sandy is a six month old pastel pied. My daughter put together a power point presentation to show the class and explain all the different morphs.

I had an absolute blast and I could have spent all day answering their questions. (A captive audience that wants to hear me talk about my passion? Score!) In the end my wife had to make me wrap it up. :)

My favorite comment of the day was from one young lady who informed me that "I used to think snakes were just ok but you've convinced me they're pretty cool." Absolutely awesome experience.

Job well done sir! My hat is off to the two of you for your persistence.

Sounds like Y'all made this an experience that was not only informative and fun, but may have begun to shape some young minds as well. :)

Excellent day that your child will remember forever. My boys are already bugging me about bringing the snake to school.
