    checking temperature in a rack.. question.
    How do you check the hot spot in the back of the rack? The space between the top of the tub and bottom of the shelf is going to be two cds thick.

    True.. but when you slide the tub out, you are taking it away from the heat source, there for giving an inaccurate reading. Am I wrong?

    Yes, the plastic cools off quickly so you have to be quick to check it.

    Usually you can slide enough of the tub out to get your arm in there while the tub is still somewhat on the heat. Or like stated previously slide it out fast and check the temp quickly.
