    ball python incubation
so I have my incubator set up with the eggs that are about a week old. I tried to candle them to see the veins and could not see throught the shells. One of the eggs looks to be dying and turning to mold. why cannot I see through the other eggs?

You are doing this in a dark place right? Can you take a picture while candling them? I have never heard of someone not being able to see through the egg.

What kind of torch are you using? I use one of those little multiple led torches in a dark room.

Can you take a picture of the eggs to show us?

    Bright light and dark room.
You are sure they are not slugs?
What temperature and humidity are you keeping them at?

Candle your eggs in a dark room with a small LED flashlight.

This is what a healthy eggs vs infertile egg will look like.
