    Hi yall.

I was wondering, in about a week im going to try and feed the new girl.Right now she is only eating mice  she is big enough to take rats so i want to get her switched over as soon as i can.But for the first feeding what do you think i should offer ? a couple mice or a nice big rat ?

This may seem like a silly question but im really not sure what to do.

    Thanks
    Brandon

I think I'd go for a mouse or two until you're just sure she's eating for you and not still stressed.

Sounds like a good idea to me. :) Thanks

I wonder how many mice i should feed her though, i dont know if youve seen the pics but she is pretty big to be satisfied with just one mouse, maybe even three.

If she is big enough to need 3 mice I would go with a Med rat, I recently picked up a female BP that had only eaten mice her entire life but was large enough to take a much bigger prey item. jsut roll the rat in some mouse dung to get the smell ot it and it should be a wrap.

HMM i would prefer not to scent it, i think ill offer it "as is", and if she doesnt take it then i will scent it with a mouse and decrease the amount of scent i put on it each time.
