EMERGENCY! First clutch

In a nutshell...
I bred my Lesserbee, Esoteris, to my friend's normal, Cornelius, some time ago; she looked pregnant for some time, but then she said her snake returned thin, like she was never pregnant at all. I assumed she'd re-absorbed her clutch from stress or something or the other.
Months go by, and my friend goes on a week long vacation out of state. Her ex agrees to take care of her reptiles and arachnids while she's gone, but she gives birth, unknown to myself and my friend-- I'm not so clear as to if her ex withheld this information, and took no action, or if he just decided to stop by once out of the 7 days, stumbled upon her and her clutch, and promptly called my friend..
ANYHOOO she was supposedly left there, with her clutch of 7, no incubator, for four or so days.
(She does have an incubator, but the snake did not give birth in it obviously :0)

so, I guess my biggest question is..

will they be alright? should I drive the 4 miles down? My friend will be back by 11 pm, but I'm really anxious

The only emergency is this was all evidently unplanned.
The female is capable of hatching out her clutch that she laid.
Ball pythons lay eggs they dont give birth.
If your friend has an incubator she hopefully knows how to use it.
Candling the eggs will let you know if they are viable or not.

Thanks man, I know they lay eggs and I know about the candling, I'm just not sure if it's warm enough for the eggs in the enclosure or not, or if the temps were adjusted.. and if they're alright. I'm not there to see for myself. I was kind of in a panic while writing the post, so sorry if i sounded uneducated, lol. My friend built the incubator, she definitely knows how to use it. Female ball pythons can become gravid,not pregnant.;)

Something similar happened to me a while back. Got the eggs in their egg box and then in the incubator and they made it fine.

As long as you get the eggs into a proper egg box and at the proper temp they should be fine. Just make sure you don't turn the eggs or put them upside down. They must stay at the same orientation as they were found.
