I thought of an easy way to clean my snake, but wanted to make sure it was an ok idea first. Considering he's leaving skidmarks on the sides of the tank, can i just kinda, wipe him down gently with a fragrance-less baby wipe?

If you feel the need to do something, it's safest to use a tepid water only rinse to clean you ball python.

On rare occasions (after egg laying for example) I use tepid water with a drop or two of a mild unscented hand soap but never above the snakes neck or on its head.

Shedding is the natural way for your snake to clean itself, if at all possible you should just let it occur naturally.

    Hope this helps.
