    Humidity problem in rack
Heya! So I set up my rack last night, 91 on the hot side. Put in my substrate (cypress mulch) and I'm now getting humidity in the 80's-90's. Everything I read said cyprus was fine, but isn't that humidity a little high? Especially after 24 hours.

Can take a couple days to level off.
Just remember you can add holes to lower humidity but closing them back up is a little harder.

So maybe I should leave it til Monday and then either consider switching substrates or drilling one hole in each tub?

I had the same issue and I just continued to tweak it. I added more holes in the tub and decreased the amount of cypress mulch. It also depends on which room you keep your animals in and what the temps are as well as the humidity. :gj::)

I would give everything some time to settle in and tweak it here and there :-)

Agree that you should wait a few days for the humidity to level off before making any holes in your tubs!
