    Super fast shed cycle?
    Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a while and I finally have something to post about.

    My lesser female just shed yesterday (4/9/15) and when I checked on her today (4/10/15) she was already blue again! Has this ever happened to you guys before? Her shed yesterday was perfect, one long continuous shed so I really don't know what to think.

    Did you check her shed to make sure that her eye caps came off with the rest of her?

    If her eyes are blue and the rest of her body is normal, she could have stuck eye caps. However, they will also shed right away again if they have had a recent bad shed and there is still shed stuck somewhere on their body.

    No stuck eye caps, I saw them attached to the shed skin. And it isn't just her eyes, she is dull all over. It is weird because it was a classic, textbook perfect shed. All one piece with eye caps.

    is she recovering from any injury?

    @dr del

    No injuries.

    She is one of the stars of my collection. She has only been paired with my Citrus Pastel Yellowbelly this breeding season and is in great shape. It is really confusing.

    Any chance of mites are another irritant?

    No mites, she is on clean unprinted newspaper.

    4/12/15 update: She just shed again, a full shed with eye caps. I guess I can chalk this up as a second pre-ov shed. Weird.
