    The escapist
So my king snake managed again to get out of his tank. How he did it this time is a mystery. He's been gone 3 days now. I fed him Saturday and haven't seen him since Sunday morning. Hopefully I'll find his soon. It's warm and he just ate so no reason to panic for a while.

What kind of setup do you have? Looks like some tank locks are in your future.

The best part is I've got an exo terra 36x18x18 locked down as best as possibls. His last escape route had been fixed. And I'm stumped I have no idea how he got out

He's about 12-16 inches long. Still nothing yet. I'm not too worried tho. He's got a full belly and it's warm. He will turn up. I'll be sad if I can't find him. He's my first snake

your very chill about him being missing.... does this happen often he just gets out and comes back, i would be worried about him getting outside.. he managed to get out of a locked tank imagine where he could end up in a house

There are a bunch of ways I could see a hatchling size snake getting out of a tank that big. The space between the doors is sometimes decently wide. Also in a set up that big are you sure he's not still in there. I "lost" a baby corn snake in a ten gallon set up but he had tucked himself up under the brim of the lid.

I tore the whole cage apart he's gone. I'm hoping to come home from school one day and find him
