Making weight
My 10 month pied has been tricky to feed since I got her. She only wants to eat every 2 weeks and she lost a lot of weight. I've managed to get her up to 200g, she's 56cm long, is she underweight?

She's on the smaller side for 10 months old.
How much did she weigh? What size food are you feeding her?

Re: Making weight
She went down to 180 3 weeks ago. Last feed was a large mouse but she's rejecting them now so trying with a medium mouse. She's SUPER active just not interested in food!!!!

What's your setup like? Temps? Humidity? Hides?

Every 2 weeks is still a pretty regular eating schedule, she shouldn't be losing any weight. Are you sure you aren't just seeing weight fluctuations due to her shedding, pooping, or eating shortly before you weigh her?

Re: Making weight
Her hotspot is 92, cold side 84, she's got a hide each end and humidity is 50%. Ever since I let her make her own way out the viv by letting the door open so she could climb into my arms she's obsessed with trying to get through the glass even during the day :/

Perhaps, although I physically see her slimming down and her skins getting more baggy, as soon as she feeds she looks great. Is it normal to get to that state before feeling hungry though??

If she's really active and trying to get out the temps might not be to her liking.
Is she spending any time in either of her hides? Or just constantly roaming trying to escape?
My own opinion is that your setup is pretty warm if the temps are accurate. My hotspots are only 87 or 88. Cool side is in the mid 70's, sometimes dipping to low 70's overnight. My snakes are regularly on the cool side of their tubs (some more than others).
How are you measuring the temps and humidity?

Re: Making weight
Have you tried rats to, or just move. Rats will put on weight to your snake much quicker. There's much more meat to a rat compared to a mouse. Try a big rat pup or small weaned.

I don't think that's normal. These are snakes that are very well known for going off of food for long periods of time and losing very little weight. Even for a younger snake I don't think noticeable weight loss in a two week stretch is a good sign. Have you considered taking her to the vet?
