    Hey,

    i was wondering if anyone had experience with hemp fiber as substrate?

    I wouldn't think it would be very absorbent.

    I have never tried it but I would think short fibre would be a good substrate if the cut ends aren't sharp. I don't see any issues with it as a choice health wise you could try it and report back.

    I would have thought it to be quite absorbent ?

    I guess the only hemp fiber I've seen was the stuff being made into rope, I suppose if you shredded it up a bit that would make it more absorbent.

    hey thanks,

    on the package of the Fiber it said that it was highly absorbent, I haven't bought it yet as i first wanted to know what others thought about it.

    guess i'll buy me a small package of it and try it out in 2 or 3 tubs and see how i like it.
