    Feeding quandary
I know there's a million "my ball python won't eat" threads but my ball python won't eat! I've had him about 3 weeks and he's an adult male mojave weighing 950g. The guy I bought him from said he hadn't eaten for a month and he locked up with his female and he still won't eat. All my temps are good. His hot hide is 90, his cool hide is about 76 and the ambient is 80 and I don't have a night drop. I've tried frozen thawed, freshly killed and this time live and he still had very little interest. Is it just the season? I had a bad experience the first time around with a ball python I got from petco that never ate and died so this is worrying me. The previous owner also told me he'll only eat live rats that are black or brown and this last feeding session that's exactly what I did and he still didn't eat. I know it's normal this time of year but it's still unsettling.

With that kind of weight on him I wouldn't worry just keep stress down and make sure he isn't dropping to much weight..

Have a scale and measure his weight at least weekly I'd say. Keep track of how much he loses
