    Pappy Goes Arboreal
It was multitasking night in the snake room - feeding, cleaning, setting up lay boxes, more cleaning from the inevitable snakes that love to crap 5 minutes after I freshen their enclosures..

Pappy usually goes on the shower curtain rod when I'm cleaning his enclosure. Sometimes he just chills but more often than not he takes the chance to explore, knock the shampoo off the hanger, crawl over the door and along the wall leaving a trail of lopsided wall hangings - the usual stuff. He had a fair sized meal last week and partly out of pity, but mostly out of house preservation, I decided to give him a small meal while he was hanging about to keep him occupied.

Here's the "are you kidding me?" look I get when I move Pappy to up here after giving him the rat. This was his first time eating out of the enclosure and I half expected him to drop it a couple times before figuring out gravity. http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...psiir1sohp.jpg

After mouthing it for several seconds he quickly adapts to the situation and pulls the rat up into a coil.http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps3qrxq60k.jpg

The insticts are strong in this one. No trial and error needed, just using gravity like an old pro.http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...psqrkib8lp.jpg

    Gravity conquered, down the hatch.
