Differences b/t humblebee, killerbee, and killer humblebee?
Hey all, I was wondering how to tell the difference between these 3 morphs. Looking at pics, it seems that the hypo fades the whole thing (so no dark browns), where as the killer produces more yellow/brightness and also often blushing in the brown parts.

For example, with this pic of this killer humblebee (from WOBP), I am not sure I would know it's a killer. The one clue I see is the blushed out part that you see in the upper right corner. I could also see my self potentially mistaking a killerbee for a killer humblebee, because some of those seem to have the blushing too.

As someone fairly new to morphs myself, the devil is in the details. In a killer bee or any other super pastel combo the biggest thing to look at is the head. Super pastel will blush out/severely reduce almost the entire head pattern. While similar at first glance, when you compare the head on a killer bee vs a regular bumblebee the difference becomes obvious.

As for hypo, the thing to look at is going to be the dark striations. Bumblebees alone come out with very dark stripes that tend to brown out slightly as they age, while killer bees still have the dark striations but blushed in the thicker areas. Humble bees, however, are born with noticable faded striations. Bold black markings just don't happen when hypo is present.

Does this look like it could be a killer humblebee? (sorry for the pics not being clearer, i didn't take them).
