    feeding problem
    I just feed my snake a mouse since he didnt wanna eat tuesday an was showing signs of being hungry well he killed the mouse but now isnt touching it why?

    So he struck, wrapped and killed then just... Dropped it and wandered away?

    I had a snake do that once, I just removed the rat, and tried again next week. She ate that one and never killed without eating again. Dunno why.

    Yeah that definitely happens. He could have gotten spooked by something. Bps are so sensitive during eating. You can try putting a towel over the cage for privacy during eating.

    It's best to give them space during feeding. But in my experience my snakes would always eat it. If I noticed this happen 9 times out of 10 the prey was gone in the morning.
