    Shedding Questiom
My typically non picky eater refused his meal last week, so of course I was worried. He only eats live food right now so I was forced to keep and provide for his meal for a week....lol. So today being week 2 of not eating, I decided to feed him today. As I got to get him to eat, I look and he has shedded?!?!?! There were no tale tale indications of shed. He seemed normal, no eye color change, no real irritability, basically normal behavor. Is this normal? Should I wait a few more day before feeding or is it ok to let him feed now?

You can feed him as soon as he sheds.

I would feed him now, he should be fine. And maybe you just missed the signs of shedding - I find a lot of mine display signs and then lose them a day or two before I find the shed in their tubs. :)

You can absolutely attempt to feed! I feed mine on a set schedule, and they get fed whether it's before, during, or after a shed. Either they eat or they don't. Most of mine eat regardless. I only have a couple that won't eat during a shed cycle.

Thanks for the info, attempted to feed him again yesterday. After about 10 minutes of hesitation, he finally ate. Here's hoping everything is back to normal.
