Best incubator?

Hi! I was wondering what is the best incubator for corn snake eggs. I cant find any accurate reviews from and incubator companies. I wanted to know what incubators you guys used and had success with it. Thanks

This may not be helpful, But just get an old mini fridge or wine fridge off craigslist, and line it with heat tape. wire it to a thermostat, and blamm-o. easy and reliable for 1/2 the cost of a store made unit. mine has worked for years and never failed me.

I make my own incubators out of old stand up freezers or mini bar fridges. I get them at the dumb for a small fee of $40. The I line the back, bottom and top with 12" heat tape. Get a small incubator fan, bought from www.beanfarm.com or any store near you the sells DIY snake racks, heat tape and things like that. Stick it to the top. Get a thermostat and done. Should not cost you more then $100 at most.

I have an R-com it regulates the temperature and the humidity. I can set either to the where I want them to be. It is a bit small however.

What's the ambient in your house? You can probably just toss them in a tub and put it on top of your refrigerator. Corn snake eggs aren't too picky, upper 70s to mid 80s and they should hatch. You don't have to keep it stable either so nighttime drops and daytime raises are fine.

Question on Freezer Incubators:
Do you need to drill any holes in the Freezer for air to circulate? I mean, if the door is closed there's no air coming in with the door sealed shut so don't the eggs and eventually babies need some sort of fresh air since they will be in there for 2 months?

How many clutches will you be incubating?

My first incubator was a mini wine fridge. Air circulation wasn't an issue for two reasons: one, the cord for the UTH that I used to heat the thing was out the door, causing a small gap and two, I checked on the eggs every week. The eggs themselves were in air-tight containers which I opened that once a week to make sure they were okay.

My current incubators are a pair of large styrofoam boxes that my clinic got shipments of vaccines in. I used dowel rods to create something of a 'platform' about 2 inches above the bottom, which is where I place a 20gallon UTH attached to a thermostat. The egg bins get stacked on each other in there, with the probe for the digital thermometer inside one of the egg bins. I can fit up to 4 clutches per styrofoam box.
