Finally Here

Well my first ball python is finally here. All went well until he struck at me 3 times in the process of getting him from the package to the terrarium. Now I feel I'll probably be intimated every time i try to take him out.

Anyways, here he is.

Wow he's really pretty.

You shouldn't feel intimidated. If I was shipped across the country in a small dark box I'd want to bite people too. Just give him a little bit to settle down. Plus, ball python bites don't hurt. Especially babies. Bug bites hurt worse IMO

Congrats on your Pretty Boy!

yeah I'm hoping he calms down from the trip. Giving him a week or so to get used to everything. It's more the strike itself than the bite thats scary. Naturally I'm going to flinch at a snake coming at me. Hopefully he'll get used to me in time.
