    need help asap
    I noticed within the last few days my bp has mites i dont know where they came from cause he hasnt had them i have removed everything from his tank an soaked in bleach water an washed his tank an i also soaked him in the bathtub in warm water which was all sunday but today they appeared worse on him :( someone please help me

    What mite stuff did you buy? There are a lot of different products on the market, some work better than others.

    Provent-a-Mite. Litterally works the best with probably he least amount of work. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM. This stuff is toxic if you don't use it correctly.

    Provent a mite works but like Running Elk said it can become toxic to the snake. Go to Petco and grab some Natural Chemistry Reptile Spray. It works wonderfully and is a natural product blend, can be left on the snake and in the habitat. Spray on a cloth, wipe enclosure down and wipe snake down with it. Literally will produce a genocide of mites. Im a veterinary toxicologist and this is what I use.
