Don't do what I did! LOL

Well last night was feeding night and I had 3 snakes that didn't want to eat, that usually eat. So I left the rats in their tubs overnight to see if maybe they would eat them. Well, I had to rush to work this morning and ended up working a double, all while I forgot about the rats in their tubs. So I get off work and open tubs for daily cleaning and OH MY GOSH. Lol the smell was horrific.

Lesson learned lol

:P Be glad that's the only lesson you had to learn. If the rats were bigger (I presume they were fuzzies or so, yes?), they could have done some pretty significant damage themselves - besides the smell, of course. :)

Oh so sorry I forgot to say they were frozen!!!! Oh gosh I wouldn't leave live in there. They were frozen medium rats lol

So they were big rats, and nice and thawed out for 24 hours hahah

I too, had a moment of "OMG what have you done?!" then the smell thing I figured hopefully frozen lol *phew* Don't scare me like that :rolleyes:

Haha no worries, two big ole fat frozen medium rats had time to "marinate" in those tubs. BARF lol

:8:Phew! I don't know why it didn't cross my mind that they were f/t. For some reason I had my mind set on stinky rat poo/pee, and that's enough of a barf smell for me. :sweeet:

Lol rat poop is bad enough, but forgotten about decomposing rats is something awful lol

Trust me that won't be happening again

A f/t left all day isn't that bad. Try a regurgitated rat.. My trash can still smells of it 2 weeks after the fact...
