:shock: Well, I was inspecting my snakes as is my usual nightly routine and I took Apok, my big male Ball Python out of his enclosure to give him a once over. Now Apok is a different sort of Ball Python - he looks like a Reticulated Python and he has the same sort of temper to boot. So when I took him out he let out a low, sibilant hiss.....this is his way of telling me that I am ticking him off...but I insisted on checking him so I pulled him out and took him over to my inspection light to see what was up....on the way over he suddenly struck out at thin air twice!!!! :shock: :shock: since the light was behind him I saw the strike strobed where I could see his mouth open and snap shut and even saw his teeth!!! :twisted: :twisted: I of course being the steely nerved snake man that I am I just thought it was cool ( Heh..yeah right...as long as he did not nail me huh ??? :wink: )and I just placed him on my bed and told him to cool off and quit with the strikey stuff...I have to admit that I like Apok...he has a nasty temper and is getting huge for a BP...I have mind my Ps and Qs around him...
