    Lost My Snake :(
    Hello Everyone.
Sadly, last night, my brand new 90 gram Pied Male escaped from his cage :(. I was wondering where I should look for him and I have 2 stories in my house. Give me suggestions on where to find him and how to do it.

I'd start by checking everything within 6 to 8 feet of his enclosure. Check *everything* closely, even the things and places you are positive he cannot fit in.

Sorry to hear this. I know your anxiety level is high.

Good probability that he went to small, dark place close to his enclosure. Something as simple as a shoe.

Don't forget that they are excellent climbers, look up!

Check clothes, inside the arms, legs, and pockets.

If you have a heat lamp, set his lamp up elevated off the floor, with some news paper on the floor. Possible some substrate on top of the paper. If you feed thawed mice, thaw one and put it on a paper plate under the lamp. Just don't put the lamp too close to the floor and cause a fire. Good luck! He may show up for some heat, or the meal.

I found monty under my mattress, between the mattress and the box spring. Also behind a dresser. Remember, they can see heat, anywhere warm.

Do you have a heater in your house? Even if it's not "on" most heaters have a pilot that remains lit. Check there. Water heaters too. Behind your fridge. He is small enough to be just about anywhere.
