    lost a tooth!! worried
I just fed my new Lil guy for the first time, on a side note he had a nice shed today for his first shed with me, all one piece. so I figured I would give him a f/t mouse, he strucks, and hit his eco carpet. He was stuck for about 45 seconds, took a jerk back to get himself off and I saw a Toother and possible half tooth still in the carpet. I'm very frustrated as I chose eco carpet to avoid feeding incidents :( after he freed himself he downed the mouse, and looks like he wants another one. So is this something that can happen and not be a big concern? Or should I hit up the vet? I don't see any blood anywhere at least, just worried about the little guy

I don't think you really need a vet visit, but get rid of the carpet. I've had that same problem in the past with leopard geckos getting their teeth stuck when missing a cricket. As far as substrates go I've tired just about everything and always end up going back to paper. I'm currently using bogus paper which is a little bit thicker and more absorbent then newspaper.
