    Kinda Weird Shed
    Hey Guys,

My young pal Shabba is a fire who has had amazing sheds ever since I got him as a hatchling (I'm pretty OCD about making sure absolutely everythingis perfect for him).

HOWEVER, he's on his fourth shed, and his milky blue eyes faded over 48 hours ago, but he's still not shedding. I usually don't feed him during shed, but I think I will tomorrow if he doesn't tonight. I'm wondering if any of you have ever experienced a ball waiting to shed for this long after his eyes have cleared back up. Is there anything I can do to help convince him it's time or should I just wait it out?

    Cheers! and thanks,

    Welcome to the forum Shboobs.

I haven't heard of any tricks to make a BP shed. If there are, someone will chime in.

A lot of us crank up the humidity from 50-60 to 70 during this time to make things a little easier for our friends.

Chances are pretty high that you will find some old skin in the morning or the next day.

If your snake skips a cycle, so be it. No harm, no worries. It will happen next time.

    Best:)
