Re: Yellow belly genetics
If you breed two yellowbellies together you can get Ivories, yellowbellies and normals. :gj:
Re: Yellow belly genetics
Dr Del hit it with what a Yellowbelly will produce when paired with a normal. However, there are a lot of other morphs that can be paired with a Yellowbelly to make some beautiful combos. Paired with a Spark, you can get Pumas. Paired with a Spector you can get Super Stripes. Even a Fire Yellowbelly is a nice looking morph. You have time so, go to World of Ball Pythons and play with their genetics list, see what inspires you. Best of luck.
Re: Yellow belly genetics
I too just bought a yellow belly bp 0.1 for future breeding plans (a small investment to wait 5 years for her to grow into proper breeding size) and i was wondering if we could keep this thread going about their genetics?
I enjoy lighter coloured snakes so the ivory gene was a pretty good base building block to my inexperienced self, i also learned that having a simple single gene in the female and having multiple genes in the male was more ideal. wondering if we could keep talking about good combos with yellow belly females :)

Unless you super slow grow her it will be 3 years or slightly less. Most of my females make 1500-2000 by their 3rd year which is a good size
