My new ones spend ninety days at a friend's house before they come to mine. He has no other herps. Once the 90 days is up I go shopping again. :D

THIS is what is most frustrating to me (if frustrating is the right word). Either I have to try to align all of my purchases so QT only lasts 90 days, or I restart QT whenever adding a new tenant. Talk about a rock and a hard place! :tricho: :gj:

Recently I changed my practices from none (unless suspicious noises or views) to 60 days. This topic was brought up recently and I found that I needed to be more cautious. Don't forget to donate to USARK. :gj:

This is an issue I'm running into. I'm going to the white plains reptile expo next month. Lol.

While it does cause frustration, I've found that I've become much more discerning in my purchases, which is a benefit... but I'm also more likely to pick up multiple critters from the same seller simultaneously, which can be hard on the wallet.

Agreed. I've just become "discerning" to the point where, as much as I try, it's hard to find multiple animals from a single seller than I fall in love with at the same time (ones that they're willing to part with anyway). I always end up paying to ship single animals from multiple sellers when I add multiple animals at the same time. ;)

This is what I do. 90 days in the bedroom rack. It's on the other side of my house and the snake room isn't doesn't have a vent for my central air, so no air exchange.
