5 1/2 Month Fast Over!

I just introduced a live mouse at the door while still in the box, open, trying to stimulate her with some aroma first- and WHAM!! She nailed it head on! While still in the box.

She usually eats a ML-L live rat, so I offered a small rat afterwards. She played the o'l "scaredy cat game".

So the Boa slammed the rat.

At least the fast is over.

That looks like a BP and not a boa to me. And your boa fasted??!! :O Mine wont stop eating. Rosey is fat so she had to go on a diet and now that Vicky and I helped her shed she is gung ho for food and all curious about coming out. She spent half an hour sitting on my neck/shoulder and inspecting everything. Regardless, grats on the fast ending. Our snakes sure know the buttons to push to stress us out :P I love boas, so inquisitive, outgoing and not shy at all even as babies.

I think they are meaning that the boa ate the rat after the BP refused it. Glad shes eating again! I've got two that have been off food for a over a month now!

Boa on fast. Ate MOUSE. Then followed up with rat ((usual meal) which was refused.

So gave the refused rat (second offering) to the garbage disposal, Boa.
