Finally got an Adult BP rack
I finally purchased a 3 tub adult BP rack to go along with my 5 tub sub adult rack. I got both from cserpents and was able to pick up both at semi-local shows to save on shipping costs. So far I haven't had any issues with them. I just hope having them stacked (like in the photo below) won't cause any issues.

If anyone is considering Cserpents racks, I would say they're a good company to buy from. I am certainly happy with mine.

Those are some nice racks, I can not wait to eventually grab something like these.

As to the stacking, I think you will be fine. You were smart to put a piece of plywood between them to disperse the weight.

Keep us updated on what you are going to be putting in the ;)

Didn't that c serpents rack come with those stacking dowels? They are supposed to stack evenly with the dowels.:confusd:

I wouldn't expect different sized racks to stack evenly on top of each other no matter how fancy those dowels are. ;)

Yes it did... But the different sizes won't fit on top of each other (the sub adult is about 3" narrower than the adult rack). I'm saving the dowels for the eventual day when I'll need another adult or juvie rack :D

I LOVE these because they come with tubs and unlike the AP racks, they come assembled too. So they are "plug and play". The 3 tub adult and the juvie rack that I got are also shipable (I think it's like $60 extra).

A really nice feature is the recessed heat tape... Now if only I could figure out the perfect probe placement and securing method lol.

I have 3 female BPs, two of which will be moving into the adult rack. A cinnamon and pastave. My other girl is a small baby and will be going into the sub adult rack (pastel enchi...just posted a pic of her in the pics forum). I like to put hides in all of my tubs, so they should all have plenty of room for hides and water bowls.

The sub adult rack is split (top 3 tubs on one channel and bottom 2 on another). The top is housing 2 female Kenyan sand boas (anery and nuclear) and a male western hognose. The bottom was housing the 2 larger female BPs. It will now house my young male hypo Bci and the small pastel enchi BP. I'm basically playing snake musical tubs lol.

Eventually, I'd like to get a couple male BPs to house in the bottom of the juvie rack (maybe a hypo enchi lesser or enchi calico).

Thanks for looking at the pic! I'm hoping the plywood works out well too... Only time will tell. I should've spray painted it black to match the racks

good lookin setup you've got there. i built my rack out of a couple home depot heavy duty plastic racks and some white board until i can afford a nice professional set like yours. i would love to have recessed heat tape, didnt really think about that until it was put together already so i have to lift my tubs from the side too when i slide them in and out.

Omg thanks for posting this. These are the exact racks I want. The hard part is which one do I start of with. I'm kind of leaning towards the sub adult 5 drawer rack.

I'm also proactively considering the 3 tub adult rack from C-Serpents for my 2 snakes, which I saw at the Atlanta Repticon show this past weekend. I'm wondering if there are any reasons NOT to get a rack system, other than sacrificing the "display factor." (?) I think this solution would make for super easy cleaning, and I figure the 3rd slot/tub could be used for swap outs during cleaning either of the 2 other tubs. I also like the idea of feeding and removing snakes from above rather than through a sliding or latched front door

My bp is growing pretty quick (he'll be 2 years in the fall), and I have a smaller Kingsnake who is also growing at a nice clip. It would be overkill for her at this point, but time does fly, and she never misses a meal...

Are snakes in racks aware of each other? I'm curious if my King would go berserk with a Ball Python above or below ...I suppose I could use the middle tub as the 3rd "spare" tub, but not sure if having the two in non-adjacent tubs would make all that much difference. Any thoughts on having pythons and Kings in the same rack/is that ill-advised?
