    Fire/flame
I've read a few articles but was wondering if anyone had done any real in depth research. What is the big difference in the fire/flame genes? There are some combos that are very interesting that require the flame gene, but I can't find anything out there for differences or places to even buy a flame gene.

to my understanding, I believe the flame gene is just a variant bloodline of the fire gene just like citrus pastels, lemons pastels and the Graziani pastels

Ajmreptiles hit the nail on the head. I will ad that they are compatible. A flame fire is a black eyed lecustic. I believe flame to be more of a higher end fire. I have a flame pinstripe im putting to my super pastel fire male.

How much do flames usually run? And where can you pick them up? Because i would like to add one to my collection.
