    I want your opinion
    Hey everyone,

last night my Lesser Pastel female shed and she weighs 961 grams empty.

I realy love her she is my favorite in my collection, but i was wondering.

I have been looking at some pictures of Lesser Pastels and I can't help noticing a lot of them have not as much yellow as my Lesser Pastel has.

I will throw in a picture of her, but I am wondering now how would you grade her as an example of the morph on a scale from 1-5 with 1 being a bad example and 5 being a very good example.

    her she is

Please let me know what you think, and don't worry i will keep thinking the same of her as I always have done :) as it is not only the looks of her but also her "personality" that makes her my favorite!

She is nice. I prefer my Lesser/Pastels to have no alien heads though. I'd rate her a 3.5

same for me 3.5 but not for the reason above. what makes a good lesser pastel to me is more the brown noise that through the pastel gene. less you have better it is. For the pattern everyone likes different shapes.

    Ok thanks ;)

can't wait till she is big enough to be paired with either my Clown male or my Cardamon Fire male (Cardamon is a new gene 2 friends of mine are working with, this breeding season is the first season they are trying for a super form)

and here is a picture of the Cardamon Fire (left) next to a regular Fire (right)

    http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/...ps45281122.jpg

the breeding this little guy came from was a Mystic with something extra male X Super Fire Female.

after a couple of breedings with the Mystic+something extra male to different females and every clutch having some babies that where different as to what they where supposed to be they desided to give it the name Cardamon.

As you can see on the last picture the Cardamon Fire looks totally different to a regular Fire. They had 3 Cardamon Fire males in that clutch and asked me if I wanted 1 as they both kept a male and didnt want to sell the animal to some one they didnt know as they where not ready to sell it yet, they first want to find out if it has a super form. This breeding season was the first season a female with the Cardamon gene could be big enough, I am not sure yet if the breeding happened but i am gonna have contact with them tomorrow to find out.
