    Dramatic drum roll...

So Schlyne goes to Lee Watson's swap to find some thermostats....

Schlyne looks around, spots a beautiful white and black garygole gecko
    (but alas, slightly too old).

Schlyne walks around and spots the perfect gecko cage.
    (but alas, no gecko).

Schlyne walks around sees some really nice "just adult" crestied geckos
    (but alas, too much).

Schlyne walks around..and finds the perfect crested gecko for just the right price.

Vendor tells story about crestie coming in for trade. Vendor takes crestie out to show Schlyne. Gecko runs up Schlyne's arm and seems content on blue fleece. Vendor helps get gecko off of Schlyne. Gecko makes dramatic leap on to Schlyne..pauses, and then runs back up to be content on blue fleece. Gecko is returned to container..

Schlyne leaves...and walks around...and picks up more frozen mice for snakes.

Schlyne leaves show to make quick run to ATM for money. Schlyne comes back to show.

    .....................................................

Schlyne goes home with two plants, crickets, waxworms, gecko cage, cricket supplements, water dish, perfect crested gecko, and no thermostats.

Damn addicting herps. They didn't have any theromstats.

Crestie is a juvie, but definately over 2 months old, not quite six, but is suspected to be a male. (not quite tellable yet). Crestie is an orange tiger.

    Non-Reptile Thermostats...?
For the curious and for future reference, the plants are a bird's nest fern (non toxic, I just checked) and a dwarf Sansevieria. (One of the Sansevieria's speicies is a mother in law's tongue, which looks like what I bought, but it isn't). We'll see how big these plants acutally get. The Sansevieria is also non toxic.

Unfournately, the plant seller didn't have any pothos or ficus. And he knew I was buying plants for a crestie, so we dicussed different plants that would be good.

Congrats on the new crested! What a way to start off your 'relationship' - he/she was saying "Take me Home". Hope he wasn't disappointed that he doesn't get blue fleece in his cage!

Well, I just took some of "him" in the cage, but I dunno how well they will turn out. I will attempt to get more on the new roll of film and get em developed.

Congrats on the new guy! He knew what he wanted and didn't care if you had to get out more money than you'd planned to spend. :) I hope your pics come out well, too.

Unforunately, this is the only picture of Dreki that turned out semi decent.

It's really fuzzy, and it's a shame none of the tiger striping photos turned out.

This was taken about mid afternoon, I think.
