    Escaped snake... Sigh.
So my ball python has managed to escape his terrarium. I have a hole in my wall in my closet, and I am frightened he went in there, as I have searched everywhere I could imagine he could get in to, with no luck. What are something's I could do? Preferably for if he went into the hole.

I put a hide, a heat lamp, and a water dish near the hole... Is that all I can do?

Search everything within 6 feet of the enclosure again, even the places you are positive he can't fit in.

Put the hide and heat in the middle of the room, you don't want to warm the place he is currently hiding IF he is in there.

Well, take a deep breath and relax. More than likely he hasn't gotten far. How long has he been missing? Along with everyone else I would add to set out some mice, either f/t or live. If you go with the live mice just leave them in a critter keeper. Make sure you do this at night and have some help. Flashlights are a must! Put the mice close to the walls and turn off the tv and any other noisy electronics. Try to do this in the complete darkness. Happy hunting! Good luck! Stay in peace and not pieces. :gj:

I hope you find him. I've had two escape before. They did not go far. I imagine yours is close by. Don't give up.
