Somehow Kitty scratched his eye. Will this resolve itself when he sheds off the eye cap next shed?
are you sure it isn't a piece of hair or maybe a really fine bit of substrate?
Yup, I am sure, it is pretty scratched, has been for a week or so. It looks like he rubbed up against something pretty hard

nope, it is surface and looks much like a small graze/scrape. I wish I had a camera.
Hm..maybe you can call a reptile vet and ask?
If it's just on the surface, it will most likely resolve with the next shed. If it's deep enough, it may take multiple sheds or may be permanent.
Well, I will hope for shed resolutions then.
