Please help me with my new Albino BP :)
Can you please help me out guys and gals? I just got a new baby albino ball python, this is my 2nd one ever- my first was a regular BP. I would love for you to take a few educated guesses as to whether its male or female, also to give me an idea on whether you think its more of a "high contrast" or "low contrast". Also it has a little orange on it, just looking to get some friendly opinions from you all.. thank you!

I will guess that you have a 50/50 chance for either sex :gj:

More seriously it's not something that can be guessed, the animal need to be sexed, ideally by someone that can teach you are to do it. Sexing is done either by popping or probing.

As for the rest pictures would help.

Okay, I'm uploading some now. 50-50 is a good guess lol. It's tail seems to be thinner, I'm guessing/ hoping its a female.

    Here you go

and you will only know the sex by popping or probing. Looking at it, its an albino for sure.

From what I've been told. tail thickness has nothing to do with BPs sex. That rule only applies to colubrids. Also I was told that "popping" a snake older than a baby is risky as they have much better muscle tone and control the older they get so the best method is probing but either way, you want someone who knows what they're doing to do it and show you. You can hurt your snake trying to "experiment" it yourself. If you are set on breeding, my best advice is have a vet you trust do it or if you know a breeder buddy who can do it. I don't breed so many someone who has more experience will chime in. This is just what I have been told/read.
