    Power outage
So I have a power outage and my incubator is not running. What is the safest decrease in temp that my eggs will hatch. It is down to 85 degrees. Thankfully it is hot in Florida today but I'm worried my eggs are going to die

Please move to breeding section. My phone keeps placing topics in the wrong area.

Obviously do not open the door.

For the rest eggs are a lot more resilient than people think and temperature going down some is not as big of an issue than temperatures spiking.

One thing I would recommend is to be prepared, especially if you are home, by either having a generator or a power inverter.

I will be getting one now. We rarely have outages. Thank you, I feel better. Hopefully it will be on soon

I had that happen 2 years ago. Temps got down to 78 before I got the generator fired up. All eggs hatched without any problems.
