    Eye problem :( Help please..
    10 months old girl. 690 gr. No problem in shedding and also she is a good eater.
    34 C hot place 26 C cold place in terra.
    I use cocopeat for substrate and the humidity is about 50 ( but its about 60/70 last two weeks ) . Here is the photos of her eye and terra..

    A crinkled eye like that indicates dehydration. How are you measuring humidity? Also has she been soaking in the water bowl? I see substrate in it.

    Hey I agree with bcr229. Might also be a retained eye cap because of the crinkling. It almost looks like scales on the eye. Check your humidity and nutritional status of that reptile. Good luck and stay in peace and not pieces. :gj:

    When she drink some water she gets dirty :) but she doesnt get in full body. Humidity is around 70-80 and she is very active and eats very well. I think she will be good at the next shed . what do you think ? (i dont think this is a eye cap thing , its wrinkled eye issue when googled . )

    I use cocopeat to make humidity andalso sprayed 2 times a day , covered the top of the terra with towel and check the humidity more often in the day.

    Update : one eye is completely gets heal. The other eye is same after the shed. Humidity is around 65-75 .

    How are you measuring the humidity? Where is the humidity gauge or probe?

    I recommend putting him in a rubber made tub with warm not hot water with the lid on for 15 mins or so. It will help with the dehydration and if it's an eye cap that as well. You will notice a difference almost immediately.

    I put the hygrometer on the substrate and its in the middle area of the terra.
