    Is 3 too many?
I can afford 3 snakes. I already have two, one corn and one ball python. Will having three seem like a lot more to care for than two? I am thinking of adding another ball python to my family. (2 small dogs and 2 snakes)

If you get another BP, aside from initial setup shouldn't be anything crazy. As you know, they're pretty low maintenance barring any issues that come up.

Nope. It's not a noticeable difference at all. One more mouth to feed every week, and one more tank/tub to clean. Not a huge difference in time commitment or cost. I'd say go for it! :P:D

Of course, opinions may be biased on this site...lol!

Most people here won't tell you that 3 is too many because a lot of us have more than that

That being said, it isn't much extra work to add another one, but with using tanks they can end up taking up a lot of space. Getting another snake is a slippery slope, as most people here can tell you. I started with a normal and just had to have certain other kinds, and now I have ten ball pythons with breeding plans stretching into the next four years (concrete anyway, I have ideas for after that) and aspirations to add some boas to my collection. Once you start...

As said above once you start you can't stop! I'd say 3 isn't too manu, it really isn't much more work unless you have big display cages with lots of decorations. A simple tub/rack setup or even a tank with paper towel and a couple of hides is easy to care for

let's look at from a different view point... When you added 1 you increased your work load by 100%. Now you have 2 snakes. If you add another you are only increasing your workload by 50%. So. I'm going to go with no, it's not much more work. Just keep adding your snakes 1 at a time and the amount of work you place on yourself will keep dropping...;)

I like the way you think! I may get another ball now, maybe a female to raise and someday be a pair for my Fireball :snake::gj:
