    Custom Screen Top/Cover
I have a tank that I bought from someone that isn't normal measurements that I can find online, but it measures like 60x19x19 roughly. He gave me a lid that he had on it, and well that lid is quite big and bulky. It's homemade and the frame is wood and awfully big with just hardware cloth, works so I can't knock it really. But since I am just going to put a divider in it and gradually increase size of tank as the boa grows into it, I want something way easier to use. So my question is does anyone know of any places online that can custom make them? I have found two sites, glasscages.com and bigappleherp.com. BigApple I'm afraid to even ask how much their custom size would be considering one just above it is like 110+. I'm trying to find one that is that black mesh like the premade ones, but I doubt they can be custom made.

Make your own and skip the mesh, unless you need it for where light fixtures go through. Really not too hard to do, and it won't cost you much.

Making a top is easy... make sure to focus your attention on securing it to the tank though. Most snakes are pretty strong when they need to be and can lift off a lid if it isn't somehow attached.

Ahh, well I have no tools to build it with. I would have to use good old fashion hammer and nails or hand screw everything, and have them cut it at store before hand haha. That, and well I have a basic idea of how to build a nice one, I just don't know what to use as a top. Hardware cloth looks terrible to me, and plexiglass would be impossible for me to cut holes into for the lights...

Designer idea! What is I secure a frame to sit on the top with a rail system that I can just slide a lid on and off, being it's going to be a huge lid to maneuver with. or build one with hinges. But no tools makes either semi difficult haha.
