    Ball pythons going under newspaper?
I'm not sure if this is normal, but my ball pythons keep going under their newspaper in their tubs. They all have 2 hides in their tubs but choose to go under the newspaper. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this?

Might not like the hides. I've had mine curled up in a corner when I put in a hide he didn't like.

Its normal. Newspaper is a great hiding spot for them. My big blood and brb does this all the time and I even give two big sheets crinkled just for hiding.

Yep this is very normal. Each snake has its own personality. My pied scrunches up all the paper towel in a corner and then lays on the plastic. My Black Pewter is almost always under it. Let them be where they want to be. On a side note if you don't see them coming out for a couple days they are probably going to shed soon. I think they seek the extra protection cause their eyes are blued over.
