    T8 or T10
Ok so I'm getting close to placing my order and im wondering from those who have both cages, does the 3 inches in a T10 help a lot for removing the snake, cleaning etc? I've been leaning towards the T10 simple because after I talked to Ali, she told me the T8 is actually 10.75" tall with an 8" opening. The T10 is 10" opening. So with 1" substrate, 4" hide boxes and the RHP being 1.75" that leaves me with only about 4" air gap which is 2" short of what is recommended. So for those of you running a T8 with an RHP, do you notice any overheating issues? RBI told me I could probably offset the warm hide to the side of the RHP to prevent chances of overheating. The T8 is a great price but like I said, above, would I be better off just spending the extra $55 and getting a T10 since this will be the permanent cage for my pied girl?

I say definitely spend the extra and get a T10. The extra height is worth it, and they are easier to get in there to clean.

I don't own a t10 but from what I've heard they are way easier to clean than a t8 (which I do own). If I was in your position and could afford to spend the extra money I'd just go for the t10. T8 is awesome but the extra space can definitely help out when it comes to cleaning. The only way I'd choose a t8 is if I was going to use paper towels or newspaper as substrate since those are easy to switch everything out instead of spot cleaning and scooping out aspen/mulch.

I own both and find no difference in ease of cleaning. I am a newspaper substrate guy so can't speak to a spot cleaning difference. Either way AP cages are great and very reasonably priced IMO.
