Needing a bit of help (all advice welcome)

I'm not sure where to begin..
I don't yet have a ball python yet but I have plans to get one in April. I'm not completely unknowledgeable, as I've spent the last 6+ months extensively researching just about everything imaginable in the husbandry aspects of BPs.. My questions are just ones that would require the already owning of one to answer, which is why I'm here :D:D
So, here's my questions:
1) in the whole glass tank vs plastic tubs debate, I think I've finally decided to go with the plastic tub, but I'm still struggling as to how to perfectly set one up. What is the proper setup for a plastic tub?

2) (This may seem like a ridiculous one) Does the amount of humidity in your tank affect the room the snake resides in?? It's gonna be in my bedroom and I'm gonna build a rack for its tub, but I'm nervous that it's going to make my room stuffy and humid all the time.

3) Can somebody please just tell me everything is gonna be fine? Hahahah. I want to do this right and I want to give this animal the longest and healthiest life possible, but I am just so stressed about doing this right.

Then come back with any additional questions.

2. That depends on how you do his humidity. If you solve his humidity issues by humidifying the entire room, then yes you'll notice. In a plastic tub though, water dishes plus occasional misting on good substrate should do fine for the snake, and won't affect you at all.

3. As long as you do things right, it'll be fine. Snakes have specific requirements, but they are not made of stained glass. Just make sure everything is setup, temps and humidity where they need to be before purchasing the snake, and he'll be fine.

As a disclaimer, I myself am an amateur who has only owned my BP for about a month now, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Keep in mind by getting your substrate, and heat dialed in with the proper amout of water, (Creating humidity) aside from the water dish, you are creating the snake's own ecosystem.

I wouldn't stress too much. As long as you have the setup in decent shape, your snake will be fine. They're pretty tough, so even if you miss on the setup by a bit, you will be able to make adjustments and get it right and your snake will be fine.

Setup the enclosure a few days in advance so you can check the temps and humidity and have everything in place for when you do get the snake.

My only other question would be that I've heard you need to keep them on a night and day system, so how is this done in this circumstance? Would it just be the light of the room or do they not need to be regulated on night and day?

For BPs as pets, you don't really need a night and day "system". For most purposes, the normal light of your room will be fine.
