Cleaning T-10 enclosure

Hi All,
I am wondering what a good method for cleaning an AP T-10 enclosure is. Right now, I remove everything and spray with water and wipe until dry. I then use the F10-SC disinfecting spray and wipe that down. For her decor, I just soak them in warm water with all natural dish soap and rinse it off.

I was thinking of using a vinegar solution to clean the enclosure instead of the F-10 SCXS (or whatever the cleaning solution is that F-10 uses)

Is my method okay for cleaning? Is the vinegar solution okay to use then disinfect the enclosure with the f-10 solution? Should I use the F-10 cleaning solution instead of the vinegar solution.
Please, let me know.

For my Pro-Line which is pretty much the HDPE version of an AP PVC cage, I spray it down with Chlorhexadine, let it soak for about 10 mins or so, then wipe it out and let it dry another 10 mins. Then I throw in new aspen and put my BCIs hide and water bowl back in. I do the same for my BP cage. A little Chlorhexadine residue wont hurt reptiles so I don't worry too much. I spray her water bowl and hide down with Chlorhexadine too and then rinse those off. Your method is fine. If you use F-10 SCXS, from what I read, you need to wipe that down with a clean wet rag after as its a cleaner AND disinfectant. I probably would skip the vinegar if you are using F-10 SCXS and just use that and then wipe down the cage with clean wet paper towels.

So, would you recommend just using warm water to clean then after that, using the F10-SC to disinfect (this is my current method.) Or, would you clean with the F10-SCXS, wipe that out and follow with the F-10 SC to disinfect?

Just curious if I need to buy the F10-SCXS.

I personally use Natural Chemistry's Healthy Habitat. You can buy a gallon of it for like 25 bucks and it lasts quite a long time. I've been using it for about two years and haven't had any problems yet. You don't need to worry about chemicals since it's all natural enzymes. Check it out and see if that's something you might be interested in.

I actually use Chlorhexadine and what I do is just spray the cage down and let it sit for about 10 mins. Then I just wipe it dry with a paper towel and replace the substrate and stuff. I'm not sure about F-10 as some vet said you need to rinse after using F-10 SCXS but RBI says you don't need to rinse with it, just wipe it down. So honestly I don't know. But like I said, I just use Chlorhexadine which is the generic version of Novalsan which vets use to wipe down exam tables and stuff and its even safe to use as an oral rinse for dogs as long as its diluted. If I had to choose though, I would probably just use F-10 SC and then wipe the cage down with a clean wet paper towel, not sure I would want to chance the SCXS stuff without rinsing it as it does have cleaning agents which I'm not sure what they could do to an animal if they ingested some.

Sauzo........Thank you for the replies. After researching this matter, I believe the F10-SC is the only chemical solvent I want to use. My girl seems happy anyways.
