Mouse hopper which is probably what he was on or rat crawler if it was on rats.

Yup, he's very tiny, but growing fast! He's been on mouse hoppers. I was wondering about small African soft fur rats?

What size?
Soft furs are what they prefer. But they say if they'll eat rats. Keep them on them. Because not many people breed soft furs. And they don't get as big as a rat does.

Yeah most people switch from hoppers to rat crawler or pups. If the hoppers aren't cutting it anymore and you think he's ready for the next size up, try it.

I honestly think a bigger size is too big, but he's acting hungry! He's about 1" in diameter at his widest part. What would you guys be feeding him?
