Loud "hiss" couple times a day
I have an adult male that I've had for 1 month who lets out a loud "hiss" sound a couplet times a day. It's pretty loud! The first time it startled me, but now I am used to it. Other than that, and having not eaten yet (but it was paired up for some time), I have no signs that it's not healthy. Weight is good, no bubbles or lifting head, etc. Does anyone else's ball do this?

Right now he's in shed, and I am watching him actively slide around cage trying to roll the skin off.

Maybe some shed near and around his nose. Once shed is all gone it may stop. If not maybe check with local vet.
