    Ball Python refusing to eat
My Albino Ball Python has started to refuse to eat. When I go to feed him one of his 2 rat fuzzies, he will take the rat, constrict it, and then he just leaves it there. He weighs 201 grams. His temps are right and his humidity is right. What could be his problem?

I just went through that with my mystic. I was feeding pre-killed and she did the same thing 4 weeks in a row. Switched her to live and she takes every time now. This might help you. Are you feeding live, pre-killed, or frozen thawed?

I feed him frozen thawed. He has always eaten for me but now he acts like he doesn't want to eat.

My girl did the exact same thing today. It was only her 2nd feeding and the first one went fine. She's 140g and the mouse was 14g, so don't think it was too big. I also do f/t and don't think I can swing live, so hopefully it doesn't become a habbit.

The mouse might not be warm enough. How are u warming it up? If u are very sure it is warm enough u might want to try chicken broth. That got my bp eating again.
