    Cedar wood
Hello, I bought a wooden branch for my ball python to climb on the other day not knowing what kind of a wood it is but I just researched about it and came to realize that it's actually Cedar wood. furthermore, I could not find any other type of wood to decorate my cage.
Many question is, can I use it in the aquarium? Yes, I do know that it's toxic but wouldn't it work if I baked it or found a way to just remove all the oils from it?
    appreciate your answers.

    Cedar wood
Why even risk it? I would not use it at all personally.

There's no way to remove all the oils from a cedar branch. At least not enough that I'd think it was safe for a snake.

Are you kidding? I'd cut it into small pieces and distribute them where I store non-seasonal clothes, bedding, holiday decorations, etc.

Please elaborate spiders are the only thing I fear in this world and require your knowledge. (Not trying to hijack the thread though)
