That cage is way too small. a good rule of thumb is 1 square foot of floor space per foot of snake. For an adult BP a 40 gallon breeder, CB-70 IRIS tub, or a custom reptile enclosure sized 2' x 2' x 1' would be considered correctly sized cages.

The cage you have doesn't allow your snake to properly thermoregulate.

I have a 50 gallon tank that I can pout her in, will that work?
She's not used for breeding

I second what was said above. That enclosure is designed to house arboreal animals. Not a terrestrial animal like a Ball Python.

Yes. I would get her into something larger than what she is currently in.

While you're at it I would take the time to peruse through some of the stickys in the husbandry forum. That way you will be able to better understand the needs of your Ball Python.

Here is a thread I wrote a while back on setting up a BP. I noticed in one of your other threads that your cage temperatures seem low as well. This thread should help you get things corrected.

If I had to choose between the two cages I would go with the 50 gallon.

Understand that ball pythons are ground dwelling. They live in borrows. So what your snake needs is a tank with a bigger footprint. Longer, not taller. Here's the sticky showing an example of correct tank set up. I think most adults don't need anything larger than a 40 gallon, but a 50 should work provided you make sure there are adequate furnishing to clutter up the space and make the snake feel secure.

As I said, I am new and I appreciate the help.
I have set up the 50 tank, and I can tell she's going to love it. It came with an above tank heater, a few hiding spots, humidity and temp gauges, an escape proof lid and a water dish.
Im going to let the tank warm up since it was outside in my car. I'll transfer her when its up to 80 deg. F.

The minimum size tank for an adult ball python is 36" x 18" x 18". An exo terra low/wide large works great. They're around $200. If the 50 gallon is for fish it may be too narrow, check the dimensions first.
